Terminal Server Client or RDesktop: How to quit Full Screen Mode
  • When using Terminal server client(rdesktop), when wants to quit the full screen mode. You can do:
    • Ctrl + Alt + Enter (if you are using Gnome)
      • If you have compiz enabled, this will not work unless you choose to do one of following:
        1. set System -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Desktop Effects to "None" or
        2. sudo aptitude install compizconfig-settings-manager then
          1. go to System -> Prefrences -> Advanced Desktop Effects Settings -> Utility -> Workarounds, uncheck "Legacy Fullscreen Support"
