Linux Software RAID
- Linux supports software RAID. It supports all the RAID levels. The following are guides and tutorials to enable RAID on Linux.
- Linux can boot from RAID. To install Linux on RAID, you have two options:
- Fresh Install: configure the RAID first then do fresh install on to the RAID.
- Migrate to RAID: migrate running system to RAID (This is the more tricky and dangeous operation needs to pay more attention.)
